Our Concrete Structures
Division typically is involved in heavy civil
concrete construction. We self perform all
activities. In addition to the foundation and
structural concrete, we also offer concrete curb
and gutter installation. An integral part of
our retaining wall construction is excavation
and slope stabilization. Soil nailing is a
relatively new concept for slope stabilization
and we have developed significant skill and
technique for installation.
We have successfully installed over 150,000 sf of shored and soil
nailed excavations. Typically these are 15 to
30 feet deep with near vertical faces. The
designs have supported operating
RAS pump stations, blower buildings, and a
13,000 sf retaining wall at a bank site located
at Six Forks and Lassiter Mill Roads in Raleigh.
We have also successfully stabilized a 62-foot
vertical slope for a water plant along the
Yadkin River.
