ABE Utilities, Inc., incorporated in 1979, is a small heavy civil / utilities construction company.  Our focus is in water distribution, stormwater management, wastewater conveyance, heavy structural concrete, and the foundation shoring associated with these areas.  We maintain our office and shop at 3804 Beryl Road in Raleigh, North Carolina.  As an unlimited/unclassified contractor with Building, Highway Heavy, and Public Utilities licenses, we employ 50 to 65 people depending on seasonal requirements.  Our North Carolina license number is #11570, and our Virginia license number is #2701 020563A.  Our core group of employees has been employed here 10 to 20 years.  Typical projects include site utility piping for storm water drainage, potable water distribution, fire mains, and sanitary sewer systems, as well as machine foundation and building foundation packages, wastewater treatment plants, existing plant modifications and small industrial buildings.  We work 30-40 lot subdivisions on either a turnkey basis or as a utility piping team member.  We construct projects in the public and private markets. We have an aggregate limit of $5 million on general liability insurance. Our company operates under 3 divisions and under the direction of Justus Everett.
